HIBARI brings the latest in automotive application coolant technology. This is a new line of refrigerants that, in its two qualities, cover the needs of passenger cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles in particular.

“As is well known, coolants have been used for many years because, unlike water, modern engines require a means of heat expulsion that better withstands the temperature and can handle it above 100 ºC,” explains Eng. Carlos Andrés Mora, an expert in the line of coolants.

Engineer Mora refers to the fact that, since today's systems are pressurized, it is important to equip them with coolants using glycol technology, a chemical compound that has a boiling point above 129 ºC when 50/50 is used, which allows the engine to operate at the ideal operating temperature determined by the manufacturer.

In addition, refrigerants HIBARI They have a low tendency to foam, which prevents cavitation and accelerated corrosion of engine parts, and do not emulsify or form gel in the mixture with hard water thanks to their low silicate content. For this reason, they protect plastic components, hoses and seals.

Two coolant qualities are now available on the market: Hibari Basic Max, a fully formulated anti-corrosion liquid containing a package of advanced corrosion inhibitors, with low silicate content and phosphate-free, which guarantees long-lasting, ready-to-use service.

It is recommended to replace water as a cooling medium in the cooling system of light and heavy vehicles. It is suitable for restoring cooling system levels, and for keeping stationary and moving engines clean. It is a ready-to-use product, it should not be mixed with water. It is recommended to change between 10,000 and 12,000 kilometers of use.

On the other hand, there is Hibari Supreme Max 50/50, a fully formulated, ready-to-use, premixed anti-corrosion coolant with 50% and glycol, containing a package of advanced corrosion inhibitors (low in silicates and phosphate-free), which guarantees long-lasting service.

It has a low tendency to foam, preventing cavitation and accelerated corrosion of engine parts. Due to its low silicate content, it does not form gels when mixed with hard water. It protects plastic components, hoses and seals, and increases the boiling point to 129 °C.

It is designed to meet the performance requirements of the cooling system of heavy and light duty engines and is ready to use, so it should not be mixed with water. It is recommended to change it every 150,000 to 200,000 kilometers or three years.
