The MAP is the absolute pressure sensor, responsible for measuring the air pressure that goes to the engine intake manifold, in English the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor.
The MAP Sensor HIBARI® It sends the changes in air pressure inside the intake manifold to the computer in the form of a signal. With this information, the amount of gasoline that the injector will deliver is estimated.
This sensor works in conjunction with the crankshaft position sensor. HIBARI® and together they send the signal to the ECU to optimize the fuel injection process.
