The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is responsible for measuring the air pressure that goes to the engine's intake manifold.
HIBARI® MAP Sensor sends a signal to the computer regarding the changes in air pressure that are occurring inside the intake manifold. With that information it is possible to estimate the amount of gasoline that the fuel injector will deliver.
The MAP sensor works together with HIBARI® crankshaft position sensor, both send the signal to the ECU to optimize the fuel injection process.
